食品科学与技术专业简介:

食品科学与技术是生物学、化学和工程学在食品领域中的应用。近年来,随着人们对食品在人类健康、福利和经济社会生活中的重要性认识的逐步增强,食品科学与技术专业的重要性也日益凸显。只有专业的食品科技人才可以确保提供营养、安全和丰富多彩并有利于人类健康的食品和日益扩增人口对食品的需求。

本专业结合食品科学与技术专业培养要求,强调学生基本科学素质、专业知识与技能培养。核心课程包括食品生化、食品微生物、食品加工、食品营养、食品安全、食品分析等。学生毕业后能够在食品企业、科研单位和高等院校、政府职能部门、食品营养咨询等领域从事食品生产技术管理、品质控制、产品开发、科学研究、营养指导等方面的专业工作。

学制:全日制4

住宿费:6000-10000/学年(两人间当中的一个床位)

申请时间:每年的31-6月30

入学条件:

1. 年满16周岁已获高中毕业文凭的外国公民。

2. 高中毕业,中学平均成绩达C以上,化学或生物的成绩要求B以上。

3.申请者需具备良好的英语基础。英语要求:来自英语国家或以英语为母语的申请者免英语水平证书;高中阶段授课语言为英语者免英语水平证书;其他申请者的英语水平要求为新托福 80 分以上,雅思 5.5分以上,或提供达到相当英语水平的证书。

Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology Program in English

 

This program is offered in English.

Food science and technology is the application of biological and chemical sciences and engineering to food systems. Interest in food science and technology has grown in recent years because of the increasing awareness of the vital role of food in the health, well-being, and economic status of individuals and nations. Professional food scientists ensure that an acceptable, nutritious, safe and appealing selection of foods is available. They also play a major role in increasing the supply of foods urgently needed to provide an adequate diet for a rapidly growing world population.

The Food Science and technology major leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. It provides an integrated curriculum that blends fundamental science with the more applied aspects of the science and technology of foods. The program includes core courses in the microbiology and safety of foods, their processing and engineering, the chemistry of foods and food ingredients, and means of characterizing their sensory attributes.

Students in this undergraduate program also benefit from a committed faculty, small classes, and an emphasis on teamwork and shared responsibility for learning. The undergraduate program in Food Science is designed to accommodate students with a variety of interests and career goalssuch as preparing students for entrance into food industry or food science and technology careers, research careers, opportunity to work in community nutrition programs.
